Writing a humorous blog when around 900 people die every day in Italy is not easy. But this was born as a humorous blog and must continue to be such.

So let's have a laugh about… the Italians’ customs in time of quarantine.

In this period the Italians are divided into two categories: those who try to trick time by doing something and those who hate those who try to trick time by doing something.

Many Italians are rediscovering themselves as bakers, pastry chefs, children's storytellers, gymnastics teachers, writers and film critics. All the others - except for those who spend time sleeping, blessed are they who can - detest those who daily bakes bread, loaves, cakes and pastries.

They hate those who quote Gianni Rodani (a famous children’s book writer) - poor Rodari, he is so mentioned in this period that he will have escaped from the grave to make way for the thousands of new dead. They cannot stand the ones that film themselves putting their butt in the air to show how a beautiful butt can be sculpted - by the way, I am a follower of these more or less experienced gymnasts and I am getting a back to envy Jennifer Lopez. They’d rather get rid of those who try to keep the line of their lives by writing everything, from little thoughts to novels made up of 3 volumes of 1000 pages each or those who have seen so many DVDs, Netflix series and pirated films to have become experts enough to deserve a place among the jury of the Golden Bear in Berlin.

Dear haters, leave alone the poor Italians who pass the time, who dream. Let them dream because, 

returned to everyday life, put aside the yeast and the gym weights, they will detach from the pillow 

and the video to reattach themselves ... to the video, but in another way. 

Why, dear haters, are you angry with them? Maybe because you don't even know how to light a stove?

Cause you do not love to make exercise? Cause you sleep badly? 

Cause the only programs you watch on TV are the apocalyptic ones? 

Cause you don’t know how to hold the pen in your hand but only type poison using the PC keyboard?

Nobody deserves to be affected by the coronavirus. The elderly in nursing homes do not deserve it. 

Not the doctors and nurses who bend over backwards for us and who President Mattarella 

will certainly find a way to reward after the emergency. 

Not young people with a physique already weakened by other chronic diseases. 

Not those who are affected even though they are still young and strong. 

Only you, haters, would deserve to be hit. But not so much, just a little.
